The national AWIS organization is hosting a web-based program entitled "I
have a mentor, now what...?" this Wednesday at 11:00 AM EST.

The speaker will be Dr. Donna J. Dean, Ph.D, an independent consultant who
focuses on career enhancement and mentoring strategies.  The talk will
be aimed primarily at post-docs and people early in their career, but anyone
is welcome to sign up.

The cost is $99, but FREE to AWIS members. Registration information can be
found under the Programs & Events tab on www.awis.org

The first seminar in our Career Skills Series will be held on Wednesday,
January 19, 2011 at the University of Chicago campus.

Heather Sevener, Associate Director for Graduate Services, Career Advising
and Planning Services will conduct a hands-on workshop to help participants
improve their resumes/CVs.

Registration will be available in early January.
