2014 AWIS-Chicago Innovator and Motivator Awards Dinner


Featured Awardees:

Innovator Award - Dr. Tanya Berger-Wolf, Associate Professor in the
Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Chicago,
where she heads the Computational Population Biology Lab.

Motivator Award - Dr. Erin L. Thomas, Gender Diversity Specialist at
Argonne National Laboratory.

Our annual awards dinner will include short talks by our distinguished
awardees about their work, career paths, and insights on women in science,
as well as well-deserved recognition of our "Scientists of the Month" that
we have featured in the past year. Of course, there will be plenty of time
for networking among attendees!


Where: Emilio's Tapas Sol Y Nieve, 215 E Ohio St., Chicago, IL 60611

When: Wednesday, *July 2nd*, 2014, 6:00 - 9:00 pm

Cost: $30 for AWIS Chicago members and students, $35 non-members (dinner
provided)
