Writers Needed! AWIS Scientist of the Month (SOTM) series

Hello AWIS Chicago members!

Your AWIS Chicago board is looking for volunteers to write for our monthly
Scientist of the Month (SOTM) series. Each SOTM article, published on the
AWIS Chicago webpage, features a person with scientific training who
promotes or embodies the advancement of women in the fields of science,
technology, or engineering. Volunteers interview a scientist of their
choosing and write a short article about their career and professional
development.

Please see the attached document for specifics, and feel free to look at
our webpage <http://www.awis-chicago.org/scientist-of-the-month> for past
articles.

If you're interested in developing your writing skills through this
opportunity as well as expanding your network through interactions with
scientists from diverse backgrounds, *please reply by Friday, August 5th
with the month(s) that you would prefer to write for within September 2016-
July 2017.*
